Fly Petals Fly
~*~
Tears flow,
into the heart of the rose,
crashing,
breaking into a million teardrops,
the rosebud hides in the cacoon of self,
as petals yearn to fly in the wind

Ever wonder why a rose has so many petals huddled together in the middle?  Because it is God's way of protecting the heart of the beautiful rose.

Wonderfully descriptive write my friend.  Loved the use of the metaphor
