INSPIRATION Let them loose your fine penned rhymes Send to me sounds of chimes and melodies Reflect upon me your thoughts and wishes Untie your troubles, free your anguish Inspire me you marvel of words so true Release your needs to the scent of roses Infiltrating hands inking a new line Gently and gracefully inscribing perfection Of letters into words of perpetual motion Free your anger turning into a rage of smiles Inspire me you faithful poet of verses so true As you write your feelings to inspire Let the breeze bring in a fragile butterfly To rest upon your quill, guiding you once more To shape sentences in colours of rainbows From deep within your heart and soul Inspire me with your dreams my poet friend Inspire me once more to face another day Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |
