Positively Preponderous Paranoia
Virginia Salter
(if one can’t find humor in sadness, prey tell where?)

Poor me
Paranoia
negative tape playing long
over and over
out of clover
in the thistles, is my song

Pity party
pooping poppies
perfectly preponderous pooh!
Practically pickled by my peril
that no one seems want my poes.

Pretty soon
my perpendicular
will be prone
in plastered plot.

People
will be positively
plabbergasted
at the played out
proclivity
of my primrose path
that’s popped!

Perhaps I should not presume
to be presumptuous
that my piece of prose
or poes
should in all probability
press all persons
to prepare for
my predaciousness
as I endeavor to share my poems.

ROFL...wonderful usage of consonance. Laughter is always the best medicine, irregardless of what ails ya.

Thanks alicat! And I love that icon, I don't recall seeing that one. Maybe it shows up better by itself. I love alliteration...at least for certain messages/poems.
