They always called him Boomer
even though his real name was Bill
He wanted everyone to use it
unfortunately, they never will

He gaily bounces all around
in happy anticipation
See him smiling foolishly
in gleeful preparation

He’ll jump out at you
if you don’t hold him tight
He’ll slither on your pillow
in the middle of the night

You see, my friends, dear Boomer
loves to dance an Irish jig
Has since he was very little
even now when he’s very big

He’s not just a fantasy
He’s not even a little toy
He’s Boomer the Bouncing Booger
come to give you all some joy.

Note: this is the first and LAST time I'll use that bouncy thing.

HEY.......what about MY FAVORITE ...

Why does that silly green booger get all the top ratings. I don't blame you for not wanting to use him again. He could be dangerous to the eyes and I heard he leaves one nasty slime trail wherever he shows up ... so what about ? Can ya, will ya, huh? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! (yeah, it is a challenge)

Then we are twins LOL.......ya poor girl ... somehow I just don't see you that way but I thank the man who invented the large brim cowboy hat.

sorry Sharon, but I had to reply to that besides it gives me a chance to look in the mirror at a new face.

Poet deVine - what a charming writing this is. It just flows so beautiful, and a pleasure to read the words. Boomer eh? Like it very much.

And if you didn't get to see my reply,

I still don't like that thing, but sure am glad for the inspiration! I'll take what I can get in these dry spells. And I'll try to write one for your 'smilie' Mark.
