A Fairy Tale

A fairy tale is where I wish we dwelt,
Where happy endings wished for oft appear.
And there your troubles soon would simply melt,
To drift away along with all your tears.
Alas no stallion white on which to ride,
Nor sword with which to vanquish all your foes,
No mystic means to sweep your fears aside,
Is mine to wield against your mounting woes.
And yet my sweet I love you oh so well,
That deep inside my heart I’ve formed a place,
For you and I in happiness to dwell,
And rest our heads on pillows made of lace.

Protected there in comfort safe and warm,
Oblivious to every raging storm.

So you don't have a white stallion, who cares. You sir have a heart made out of gold and believe me thats all that's needed.

ya dont need no stallion, or sword ...
not when ya have a pen of gold ...
and it does have mystic means... it has sonnet secrets
very cool D2 ...
as always your sonnets are a pleasure to partake in...
even if they do leave me with poetic envy

If my slight Muse do please these curious days ...
The pain be mine ...
but thine shall be the praise.

Perfect and romantic. You have given her what she needs, without the castle or the white horse, with this gift of words.
