Okay love, I can't say it's perfect, because I'm not certain about the length. But I've gone for brevity.

To Touch A Star

To Touch a star is my hopeful desire
Desire to feel the heat, touch the fire
Fire the imagination illume my night
Night of secret dreams that feel right
Right or wrong who made these rules
Rules of love that echo in hearts halls
Halls of pain which leave me so alone
Alone without comfort of even the phone
Phone me up and speak to me again
Again and again I beseech my souls rain
Rain that brings my eyes back to the stars
Stars which hear of my need for you
You can mend my heart if you want too

Marsha

Kari love I was going to cheat and offer you this one but it's not really fair.

Stars shine
Shine stars

But it was delightfully brief

(I'm sorry I missed out a line and a half, I used to be brighter you know honestly   )

Circe love, Kari likes me to work occassionally, (Mutter, mutter,) She says it's good for my soul. Okay I agree it is, but...... you know me love, if I can cruise it I will. Which is why she cracks the whip.
(Kari love don't beat me over the head with your beams I'll be good.)
Actually love, it was fun, if you want to try it, I'm sure you would make an excellant job.
It's the last word of the line becomes the first word of the next line, until the end when the last word is the same as the very first word. To check out how it should go read 'Visions' by Sunshine.
Take care kid have fun

Kari love, okay I missed a line and a half out but otherwise it's not bad as a first attempt love and it was supposed to rhyme wasn't it. There you little angel, now that's two, I shall have to lie down for at least an hour to recover from the shock of it.
Take care love

I can't manage my usual MM I'm tired
it's work I'm not used to it

Poeminister thank you very much, didn't take me any time at all, so easy I could do it falling off a log. (Actually it isn't and I couldn't, but I don't want everyone to know.   )
Take care

Inot2B love, thank you so very much, I haven't got the strength to grab the star but I'll send Kari up later. (Mutter mutter, it's time she did something you know. She's got nothing better to do than tease me   )
You do know I'm joking I hope. She's my sister of choice, as opposed to natural.
Take care

So nice to see you dedicated to growing in your poetry.  I can see that the lessons are paying off.  You already have a talent and I can't wait to see just how far you stretch it.  Wonderful write from you my friend.

Kethry love, she had me working..... can you conceive of it, I actually had to work!!! Good grief!, and two of them, love, two.. it passes the bounds of common humanity.
Yes love, do it, I will admit it I had fun, which is why we're here anyway.

Thank you love, for the kiss and the sisterly support. (But oh kid what a way to grow love) And for the compliment..... if you loved me that much, you'd tell me that you will do all my challenges for me. I told you I was terminally lazy   And don't tell me it's good for my soul, my soul was fine doing nothing very much..
Take care love

Mark my friend, Kari is on a mission to make me shake my tail feathers. Actually I think she wants me to work because she a little devil and she like to see me bent over with labours of love. I thank you very much, I shall now put my feet up for the rest of the year, because I've done more than my share of it. You know of course that this is all nonsense and I love her as my sister of choice.
Now if you fancy doing this I'm sure it will cast this into the shade. But it was fun.... (but ssshhhhhh don't tell Kari I said so!)
Take care love

Marsha~

'Shaking your tail feathers' are you ?
You do a pretty darned good job of it.
It remains to be seen what you can do when pushed.
Pushed to the edge of the stars would have me shaking.

Good show, girlie !

Kari love, WRITE THE NIGHT, you, you imp, and as a sonnet. Oh my goodness!
I'll be found tomorrow lying in the gutter with my feet stuck up in the air.
I'll see what I can do love, I don't promise, but I'll try,
You......... dear heart you!
