In Darkness of Love

Mind dwells in corners, where passions delight
Images dancing behind closed eyes of
A flight, pulsating to reach heaven's height
Consumed, and recessed in scenes dark of love.

Like tides drifting in, then cresting in verse
Passions awakened before light each morn.
Candlelight flickers, as hungers disperse
Wildly you mold me, 'til I've been reborn.

The past holds me tightly, wrapped lacings, black
Shadows arresting my thoughts, upon walls.
Memories of touching, tied, bound, no slack,
Wishes, commanding, a voice in mine calls.

Subtle caresses, nights reign holding true.
Dreams cast their blending, wrapped I, then in You.

~Wynter
