When The Tears Turn To Flood.

Anticipating deliverance from crying
Tearducts red burning weeping
Eyelashes straining to dry up
Running nose swelling lip

Days and months lost in the unknown
Mind falling into tangled frown
A heart that rejoiced life's joys
Now torn into irrepairable shreads

Whereupon a need for love betrayed
Relentless of a passion to hurt
Even one so close to the heart
Giving no reason nothing but hatred

There is no joy in harming
For when tears flow there is hurting
When the need to be held was lost
In the eons of brutality where trust
Fell to the will to destroy
A good soul, a good heart

When the tears turn to flood
It is too late to stop the deluge
When there is nowhere to feel comfort
Even of those close of blood

When the tears turned to flood
A broken person' heart bled for love
But no one came in that hour of need
To alter the course of meandering tears

Daniel I have to believe that when we desire love and we lose it at some time in our future we will find love again to soothe our heart and nourish our soul...James

Paula,
Thank you for the reply. No I am not coping at the moment. An accumulation of many events have brought about the very truth of this poem.

Coco,
Your caring words are very comforting. There is a lot of hurting in this poem I can assure you.

Marge,
When all is lost it seems so real that no hands reach out. And what hurts the most is that those you love so much keep wanting to further your fall.

James,
Thank you, I accept all your warm words. But at this very moment it is extremely difficult for me.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
