A type of Sleigh Ride

I am a lover in love with love.
Angels above and cupids arrows
Velvet gloves and flights of doves
And swiftly flying sparrows.

I let my mind trapeze naive
I wet it on the Isle of wile.
Wear my heart upon my sleeve
And trust in the fabric of smile.

I'm what you see a cloth of sheer.
Easy prey to the slightest yield
I'm not a battlefield my dear.
I have no shield that I would wield

I'd grant what practical I could
For I know the need for such glean
But in my heart and mind I would
Make you the fairest fair my queen.

I'd wrap you on my sled of goal
Snug and warm, in my bare of soul.

Let it all hang out and bask in the sun.  Excellent writing sir.  Loved the dedication and the sincerity of the heart in this one.

Seymour~
I have a feeling that every day with you
is a new Valentine opened.
This is romantically beautiful.

Wear on, sweet poet !

I enjoyed your use of language in this.  Any lady who would refuse to go on a sleigh ride with you must be crazy!

I'd love to hear more about those velvet gloves!
