sharing the remnants
                    of
a broken dream

we scatter them--

as stars
across the night sky--

and hope in faith
               that
each piece
will
               one day
find its mate;

a dream come true...

This is a beautiful piece. We all want our "dreams come true", and sometimes we have to go through a few shattered dreams at first. Thanks for posting.

G - Wish my attic had such treasures hidden in it! (Okay, so I don't have an attic, but you get the idea!)   Hope those dreams are on the way to coming true for you!  hugs

Life is an ever-changing puzzle that causes us to seek the perfect fit the piece that we carry with us and you have penned it wonderfully my friend.  Now, did you find that cafe yet?

Wonderful writing. My life has gotten scattered into the wind before. Broken into so many differant parts that I thought I could never have put it back together. I was right. I could not do it. It came together on its own all i had to do is to keep on keeping one the right path. Your poem touched me and I could relate to your words.
