Cold Inside My Heart I smiled at the sky today but it’s my little secret the bright blue reflecting in my eyes but I’ll be damned if I’ll let you see it Warm on the outside Cold inside my heart I’m supposed to be getting over you but I don’t know where to start How can I put myself back together when you are the missing part? Come back and warm the cold inside my heart I laughed at a stranger’s joke today but it’s a sound you won’t hear the humorous twinkle in my eyes just a cover to hold back the tears Warm on the outside Cold inside my heart I’m supposed to be getting over you but I don’t know where to start How can I put myself back together when you are the missing part? I know it feels like the pain is never gonna end but it will...it will. One day you will wake up and something will be missing...you will wonder and wonder...then finally realize that weight is gone. Im here you know that |

Tara, Heart wrenching for who? You or me? I refuse to fill the void you left because I know NOTHING will fill it the same way. Unlike... DreamSeeker, Beautiful response, you have a way with words; I especially like "Oh I Am Good, They Never Suspect". It's a memory now; but never ONLY, because wounds of the heart don't ever totally heal. Paula, Thank you for being there; I don't want the "weight" to be gone. I just want to carry it with a feeling of happiness and pride, not sadness and regret. |
