Caught The Wind Caught the wind in my hand, said I'd save it for you. Hold on, hold on, it's trying to blow you away; fiercely I squeeze, refusing to let go. I lie away at night, fingers clinched so tight trying to keep it...you, from leaving. I lie awake and pray that when next comes day you'll be at my side... still my bride. I cry, alone, in my pillow, though you're right there, distance, so relevant; so near, so far... so far. I've got to believe, we can make it... we have to try, try a little harder, do what we have to do, give our love a chance. All we have to do to make it last, is love one another... just love each other like we used to. Caught the wind; praying for an airtight seal, for something in our life to make it real, again. Hold the night, hold the night... don't let it end, don't let me open my eyes to day again, unless the wind has blown you back. The wind, my friend, is not caught in the hand. It is caught in the soul ... and that is where the answer lies. Heart wrenching ... I devoutly hope this is not personal with you ... God bless you. Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

Nope, not personal, friend interloper, I haven't written any thing of a personal note on the "darker" side of love in many years. Thank you Paula and Sea, always appreciate your views.
