~~ This is from my heart to you, my Brother....you know who you are ~~

You were there today, and you heard me say
I could use a helping hand...
You held onto me in the stormy sea,
helped me swim back to dry land...
I was sinking fast in an ocean’s vast
foamy whirlpool of my tears...
But along you came, calling out my name,
drowning out my useless fears......

I was all alone, sitting here at home,
kindof scared and kindof sad...
Wishing for someone I could just lean on,
‘til things didn’t seem so bad...
Then I thought of you, only friend I knew,
and I didn’t think you’d mind...
So I sent you part of my shakey heart,
and your words came back, so kind......

You will never know how you helped me so,
even gypsies sometimes cry...
I am pretty tough, but it’s not enough,
when you’re shot down from the sky...
When it all fell in, I knew there and then
that I needed someone other
than myself...I knew, that I needed you...
You were there for me, my Brother......

You’re so very kind, with a gentle mind
and a wise and tender way...
In these sister’s eyes, you’re a cherished prize,
and no words can really say...
But I hope you know that to me you’re so
much more than just a friend...
Now I think of you as my Brother,
here in my heart
until the end......

Sunny this is SOOOO beautiful and shows your heart in every single line.  There is one happy man out there just knowing of your heart and soul and I know that he has got to feel the same about you or he would have to be crazy.  Your "brother" or friend...is one lucky man indeed.  Superb penning from you my friend.

No.....I'm the lucky one. When I needed a strong shoulder to cry on, he was there for me, and helped me through some events that I couldn't have made it through alone. I will forever be grateful.
And I am also grateful that I have a twin in you......You are very special.

Sunny this is a very nice gentle reminder that none of us are an island and at some time in our lives no matter how strong we are we need someones shoulder to lean or someone special to be their for us during hard times...James
