Burning through midnight wax,
Dancing in the wind,
Burning only to fuel my soul,
Candle burns too fast,

Mellow tones  agaisnt the night,
Offering only warmth,
Afraid to step in the dark,
Candle burns too fast,

Wax melting slowly dribbling,
All the sudden dying out,
Breathes in it's last breath,
Candle burns too fast.

Sometimes you have to let go and move on,
But never let go of the memories.

Are ya sayin we need to slow down and enjoy life a little??? I couldn't agree with you more.  Wonderful write from you.  Pure and so sincere in it's flaming message.  Or maybe it is the passion that burns so fast at first and then slowly dwindles away ... either way it is taken I love it much.

Well it was just of passion, but I guess it both really. Thanks
