a faded picture
a battered frame
yet the image remains
unmarred

a distant heart
a broken dream
a shattered soul
within

a fragile love
a dim reflection
grayed by the
shadows of time

a faded picture
yet the memory
shines clear
forever dwelling
within my soul

Wow!  That would be quite a conquest for me, to have a clearer memory than a faded picture beheld.  Of course, an awful lot of my memories are very long ago, now. ;o}

Entertaining thought, though.

vlraynes,
Likewise I know the feeling too well. Cheers.

Brought tears to my eyes........sensed a quiet honesty in this that just shines.
