Mahogany Swirls

Mahogany swirls of auborn hair
Flowing cascades of satin blend
Dancing tangles of passion care
Clinging embrace of lust crescend

Mounting surge of restless release
Surging flows of temptation build
Lover's massage rest in velvet crease
Toss of ecstasy in symphony's guild

Hesitant breath filling pending gasp
Clutch of nails plow fields on back
Starving lips gulp in surging grasp
Trace of tongue racing nectar's track

Mahogany swirls sending fears aloft
Slashing time in created winds so soft
Rested sighs on manifest coming due
Whispers  softly spoken of "I love you"

Mark Christopher

Mark, a very alluring title bade me read further. As I did, I found tenderness, playfulness and passion in this lovely poem. Any woman would certainly be honored to be the subject of such esteemed and sensual attention as the poem explores both the emotional and physical nuances of loving. Wonderfully written.
