If by chance when at first glance
it seems I'm lost in dreams
Allow my stance some variance
with-in these rhyming schemes

I seek to speak them not in greek
though sometimes it has been
I add some color by way of cheek
every now and then

In lacking sense I may dispense
what some may over brood
Well they're just dense , when I jump that fence
it's just my poetude

I mean no harm though wit and charm
may lack from what I say
But there are times when I'm alarmed
when things go a certain way

So if you would please be so good
and not think me too rude
When I'm off track cut me some slack
and you'll have my gratitude

Cleverly writ, Doc...and great rhythm, incidentally.
