Serendipity
~*Marge Tindal*~

Few mixed emotions
Cloud the heart as yours do mine
Waiting for sunshine

Light the day anew
Sunshine take my heart away
Warm me with loves rays

Hold my tender heart
Touch it with serenity
Fold me into you

Hold me 'til dawn breaks
Gently through the night with love
Nevermore adrift

I am more with you
Than I ever hoped to be
Never let me go

Never set me free
Just love me with all your heart
Never will love part

Just the softest touch
Your kisses upon my cheek
Serendipity

The beauty of this poem reflects that of your soul. Thank you for sharing it.

Jeffrey~
You DO see into me ! Thank you, sweetie.

Serenity~
Your 'sweet sighs' enlighten me. Thank you.

Insect~
You are perceptive ... the sun shines brightly.

ESP~
Now THAT makes me want to write MORE !

Tracie~
I am pleased that my seven little haiku/senyru's of serendipity could soothe
your soul.
I find that writing them is a relaxation in and by itself.
So very glad you enjoyed.

Serendipity
A chance we take or lose for
All eternity

I would have felt compelled to read this even if it hadn't been your work - hehe.. "Serendipity" being my own signature poem an all...

You've done it proud, my friend... I love the haiku formatting throughout...I'm smilin'..

Nan~

I was so pleased to see your reply.
The word 'serendipity' has been one of my favorites for eons ...
I used to have a skating club out of my roller-skating center and they were called The Serendipity Skaters.
Indeed they 'happened by chance' and did justice to the name - winning honors beyond their expectations.

This word is so old - did you know (and you probably do)-

'We are indebted to the English author Horace Walpole for coining the word serendipity. January 28, 1754.'

I went to your homepage and found your
Serendipity poem ... I'm in awe of it's beauty. Thank you for kind of pointing me that way.
Very pleased that you enjoyed the format.
It sings to me.
