"Why have you been writing all those dark pieces of late," she asked with a frown?

"Because I can," I answered with a smirk.

"Well, I don't like it one bit, and neither do your friends."

"You spoke to my friends," I asked with a puzzled gasp"?

"Well, no, not exactly. You know I only speak to you. Only Zeus knows why I bother. You never listen."

"Now, don't get all in a huff", I replied, "wildflower is on the way."

"Oh, good," she giggled, "I like wildflower."

"So does Ellie," I said with a smile.

I am "Amused", because your Muse must be a woman....therefore, she has the wit and intelligence to agree with me  lol...good one, Peg!!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

of course Ellie, we all know women are more intelligent than men...LOL

Joyce, there is no wrong way. I'm just glad you took the time to read what I write.  Hugs!

I agree this is a delightful piece

A Musician must make his Music,
An Artist must Paint,
A Poet must Write,
if he/she is to ultimately
be at Peace with himself.
