Those things give me the "creeps". I avoid the shore in late August and early September, the ocean seems full of them at that time for some reason.

javier, now that is another of my backpacking experiences...i am rather ashamed to admit that i have never seen a jellyfish before and when i first saw it, i actually thought it was a plastic bag instead

Yes, Jellyfish really do look like that..watch out for the sting!!
