I crept down a dusty path,
The moonlight cast it's shadows,
And the shadows cast it's storm,
The twisted face of bark stared,
As its arms reached out to take me,

The beaten moon echoed with the stars,
The cold wind chill softly moaned,
And the dry twig snapped out angrily,
The distant cry of a helpless beast,
Falling victim to the the howling monster,

The fog seeped slowly in around me,
Blinding me as it passed though,
The old creepy forest into which I'd ventured,
But alas I couldn't turn back to the past,
As it disappeared with everything but memories,

But my fears weren't to last any longer,
For a line of crimson red filled midnight blue,
The clouds tinged their silver lining,
The sun appeared from the stormy black night,
And I carried on my journey in the light.

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

Very well expressed, Moon Dust. I can relate to this very well.

This is so well done.  You illustrate the difference between dark and day with skill.  Joyce
