Time Machine Our song comes on the radio she looks over at me a smile teasin’ at her lips. Feelin’ all the lovin’ in the world as she gently touches my face with just a few fingertips. Sure been a special ride these years spent in love passing lifes tricks n treats. Rolling along homeward road my baby right next to me pullin’ over at our neckin’ creek. Taking her in my arms kissing her salty cheeks right back to Daddy’s Ford, years ago. Wrapping ourselves all over twisting around with our song seems everything just like before. Yeah, this old pickup is a time machine taking us back to yesterday down at our creek, what a trip! Our song on “oldies” radio she’s just a lovin’ me...still, always a smile teasin’ at her lips. ~~~~~  |
