This first Waltz of Fall
Leaves twirling in harmony
Autumns melody

Stil the garden lush
leaves dance upon her petals
Summer Fall duet

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Dear Ellie,
What a lovely scene--a brief and friendly interlude--a cordial dance between the two seasons as one prepares to take a bow and the other assumes the dance floor as a solo.

interesting & delightful,

this sounds good and it is a good poem but it's more like something a little kid would write.

I can hear the music. Lovely Fairie princess..

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
