The song begins to play soft and gentle
Across the room the melody begins to form
But if I could not sing words so warm
How would I show my love to you?
How would you know the love that I feel?
How could I to you my true heart reveal?

The poem begins to flow calm and tender
Across the page, the words begin to form
But if I could not write of the storm
How would I share my love with you?
How would you know the love in my heart?
How to begin my love, how would I start?

Your love gives me a song to sing
Your heart gives me words to rhyme
You are my inspiration Valentine. . .

Song and poem begin to meet in her heart
Now together, they take my love to her
And send her my thoughts of love so pure
Will she know of my love so true?
Will my love for her show in my eyes?
When I'm with her my heart soars to the skies

If there were no songs for me to sing
If there were no words for me to rhyme
I'd still give you my love, my Valentine. . .

You are my love,
                       my light,
                                     my soul. . .
                                                    My Valentine. . .

Absolutely perfect.  When you turn your pen over to your heart it really comes through for you.  I am left in awe of your talent and your ability to draw one into your poems.

Sven~
Par excellence !

'Your love gives me a song to sing'

My friend, you sing it well !

I thoroughly enjoy reading your heart.
My appreciation for the 'songs' you sing.
