Earth 3rd Rock from the sun!!

destructive by nature
everything i touch
crumbling
cracking
falling like dust

shattered dreams
forget me nots
that i've forgotten
left
alone
bursting at the seams

lifting my head to the heavens
screaming "why me?'
as I look to my breathren
who holds the key
lifes most precious treasures
being stolen from me

my heart in my hand
i give to you
for if I keep it
god knows what I'll do

now go and tell them
I wish them no pain
this life isn't for living
when there is nothing to gain

my sorrow will only pass on to my kin
i leave this world now
and with me goes my sin........

Sweet Lady, this aches -- I hope it is not truth..?

There is always light in the darkness, my dear ... may you find swiftly the beacon to lead your soul out of this night.

Hugs.

JulieAnn, I think I have found one of your first posts...very sad, but I'm glad to know you've since done happier ones...

you have an ability to reach out and touch someone...that's a great gift...

JulieAnn.... its from within your words, I see the past that I once live, and maybe in secret I still live it.

This a very powerful, and moving poem. Thnk-you.
