I need to start again, that much I know is true. If not for outside pressures I would know just what to do. So many people need me, but I want my own life back. I give and give, it's not enough, I fade from gray to black.. It's not that I don't want to help the ones that need me so. It's just that I deserve some love, and I badly need to go. How can I leave these babies, my daughter's girls, my heart? I want to leave so badly, yet the thought tears me apart. I'm being called to seek new paths, but I want them by my side. If not for lack of money, there would be no need to cry. If I would find a miracle, then we could all break free. They hate it here as much as I, but the funding's up to me. We live in a place of closed up minds, no culture, emotionally dead. We have loves on the other coast, we wish we'd never fled. Now I watch the days slip by with unrepentant pain. I fear that soon I'll be too old. Too late for any gain. My talent's wasted daily, my love a constant loss. If I stay here, there is no change. It's such a loathsome cost. Not sure what's in my future, it could be just as bad. But I can't go on lamenting the chance I never had. So someone send a miracle, God or Goddess, please. I need some guidance and some help- I'm begging on my knees.. |

WOW!!! Now I could honestly feel your pain in this one. Great job of expressing yourself girl!  I also use to ask for some guidence, yet I found it all in myself! You are the answer to your own questions. Its a struggle, yes I know this. But dig down deep and you shall see the answers.Best of Luck! Oh Cat, what a dreadful situation! If I were you I would just take the risk. What have you got to lose? I feel so sorry for your daughter to have such a disgusting husband, BTW, can't she just leave him? Easier said than done, I suppose. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you make the right decision. And your talent isn't wasted BTW, what about all the wonderful poems you share with us everyday? i just wanted to say that i feel the saddness of this one. i know how it feel to be stuck in a strange town with out much means, but i was lucky i always had my family to call and get me and my kids. good luck and i hope if this is about you. you find away to go after your dreams |
