Well here's another that hit me like a bolt of lightning...
--------------------------------------
I sit gasping
breathing, rasping
I escaped the claws of Death

I hold the gun in my hand
and the bullets too.
But I cannot shoot;
bullets crumbled to sand.

A wave of sadness
followed by madness.
After I saw that vase shatter
Why should anything matter?

That vase had my life
I reload the gun
light and life shall I shun
but all the vase does is run

I see my mind running away
But my body is here to stay
In the suffering of the darkness
Why did I escape?

I sit here huddled
my mind all muddled
all AsTRay
Now i AsK yOu to sTaY
aWAy FRom tHE mADDNess
in me.

I welcome the CLaws oF dEatH.

It is your madness that has drawn me to you.  Many welcome the claws of death until that very instant when they first feel the sting, that exquiste pricking of the life force...but by then it is too late.  Come, I'll help you find that vase.  Wrap yourself in my cloak of Dark Passions....here you will find comfort, and friends.  Stay with us...we need you.  Hardrock

Hi, so sorry for your painful thoughts. Please read  my poem "Terrible Tragedy", because it tells a true story of someone who felt like that, but stepped a little too far over the line.
Take care. Peace
