I have a lifetime friend Who yields a broken heart The man of her desire Remains So many miles apart I contemplate the heartache Her tearsdrops..misty rain If I could just erase her sorrows and Diminish all her pain A dense fog of grief embraces her A blanket of longing by her side A consuming beast of misery How long can she abide If I could reserve a well of wishes If I could pawn her sunken ship If only..........
