Oh, there is some trouble
brewing.
I can feel it heating up.
Only so much frustration
can be contained.
One of these days
(not long now)
it's going to boil over.
I will have you-
regardless
of the consequences.
Oh yes, trouble is
brewing.
A hot cup of coffee,
just a bit too full.
When it spills,
it's going to burn.
And you know,
it will be well
worth it.

this is really good. i like how you use the cofe and boiling over as key words of your feelings this is truely great.

yes some pain is truly worth it. We must judge as to how much is although.

love this idea of a poem kid. really great.

wow!!!!!! i really love this!!!! i also have a poem entitled a slow burn, but it is nothing like this!!! i like this cuz i can't tell if you are saying the burn is good or bad.  i sense some infatuation maybe?? who knows?? it is 5 in the morning!!! i just love your work, moonbeamgirl!!!

Catalina....I was struck by the line "I will have you"....It scared me and yet it intrigues me.  Such determination invoked visions of Fatal Attraction.....Great work, gave me chills.....Hardrock

Oh yes The slow burn....and we do get burnt but go for it anyways!!!! I can relate very well, Excellent verse!!!
