I've taken my advice,
I'm creating my altar of peace,
A little corner in my bedroom,
Where my darkness is released.

It's just a little table,
With a tablecloth on top,
Upon it lie some inspiring things,
Special things that bring peace, make the negatives stop.

I have gathered special reminders,
They remind me things aren't as bad as they seem,
A place where a veil of peace,
Comforts me yet is unseen.

So I spend 10 minutes there each morning,
Being thankful for the positives in my life,
And assessing and working through the negatives,
To pull up out of their mire and strife.

My little haven cost me nothing at all,
Just a little thought and time,
And those 10 minutes have already made a difference,
To how I handle things I find.

So there's the proof,
The power of the mind and positive belief,
It can and does make a difference in your life,
You can try it to, what is the worst that can happen?
You may just find some relief...

But a mere chapter,
But a man to a woman
Is an entire book.--

Glad you glimpsed the rainbow hon, it's taken me 33 years nearly to realise it all starts and finishes with me...  So ten minutes of peace and positives in the morning is a good start to the day just like a good breakfast!!

I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.....

EXCELLENT Isis!!!

Having an altar is one way we can help ourselves get through the day. . . a place where we can release ourselves. . .

Great poem. . .

If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves
from which evolves the light...
