The point at which all lines converge
I grip within this hand
Where past and present tend to merge
that I may understand
Of deeds great men and fools alike
did countless times before
I see for whom the clock now strikes
that I choose to ignore
As stealing time spent otherwise
on more important things
I script words into butterflies
to watch as they take wing
and not think one clock-tick mis-spent
that's filled instead with wonderment

Hi Doc....

    I think this is magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!

      "I script words into butterflies
to watch as they take wing....."

Thank you for adding this to
                 my day......

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

I enjoyed your poetic decision making. Very nicely put together.

Marge ,
And here all along I thought the pleasure was mine ( and still do ). Glad you liked ,
Doc

Drew ,
Nope , only the ones that don't belong to me.
A Rolex eh ? will have to see what I can come up with .
Doc

Claire ,
I'm glad you enjoyed , sometimes it's hard to tell who inspired what , but I have always found your works  to be inspirational.

The title drew me in Doc, and the rest was just plain truth....so tell me, are you accepting any new patients?  Thank you for this thoughtful read....
