Completion of memories
of a nights lasting dream
that foutunes have brought her
and of what they do mean,
to see the heart at rest
while her soul turns and fails
at what has turned to be
a falling of her vails.
The memories burn
of a nights gentle kiss
that made her come alive
for his presence again,
and of that touch he does have
the one that keeps her heart
she prays for the strength
that she may impart.
Of time that is coming
and of time that may be
she stays her course true
for the hardships she sees,
yet of a time that is coming
that of a distant sun
when this bird on a wind
shall finally find home.

Oh Michael, you have left me speechless here.....as I read this over and over and over again........Your depth of understanding and loving heart are overwhelming. This bird seems so lost in flight.......but I am sure her heart, regardless of presence of body will always fly to you.

What a timeless tale of love and longing...this is beautiful.
