'Tis midnight's hour,
...as moonbeams rest,
Long past the sun's
...heat incandesced.

Not yet morn's dew,
...on graveyard lawn,
As angels sleep,
...no hint of dawn.

Evening's air,
...sans whispered breath,
Lays still the night,
...in hush of death.

Specter cometh,
...on noiseless feet,
Ebon cloaked,
...dark night's afreet.

Upon cold grave,
...lays roses three,
Cognac rare,
...bouquet's garni.

Dark silent grave,
...in Baltimore,
"Quoth the Raven,
...Nevermore."

Dark, hushed, masterfully executed...I'm glad I was still here when you posted this, my friend. Thank you.

Fabulous, Mike! Great poem! See, I learned something else new today...I didn't know he was buried in Baltimore...I thought he was buried in Philadelphia since he lived here for some years....I got to visit his house once many years ago...I think it was the house where he wrote that famous poem...I could be mistaken about that though, it's been quite a few years since that visit. Well, anyway, great poem!

Think he was raised in Baltimore...  moved around to Philadelphia, New York...  went back to Baltimore and died and is buried there...
