my poetry like my incontinence flows ever so freely
wetting these pages
trickling
quite indiscreetly

oh, how often this affliction strikes me down
with a tear in my eye
a puddle on the ground
i could blame it on the neighbor's dog Whiley
but what is the use in denying
this person i have become
time
like too many twinkies
eventually changes everyone

so judge my words harshly
or respond to them kindly
i shall continue to write
for my words flow
involuntarily

That title just reached out and grabbed me. I could not pass it by - One of my fav descriptions of talking too much is 'oral diarrhea'  - so you understand - a package of 'depends' is on the way LOL

Heh...I'm with Walt on this one.  Count yer blessins that yer poetic incontinence sprays not frae another orifice.

In all seriousness, this one was an apt description of how many poets come with writers block.  They simply write whatever dribbles from mind and pen until something resembling the thought they wanted pops up...kinda like seining the ocean sometimes.

I love this one. . . Everyone should have a "Puke Out Loud" collection!!!

By the way, just how often do you have to change the sheets of paper???

Excellent. . .
