I am far from being a poet, but a competitor, yes. LOL...I hope I have done your line justice  If and when If and when have come and gone and gone is here to taunt. Love I send memories forced from thou love which did flaunt. I shall see with roses red if I have drew you near. I shall sing with string quartets my searing soul, so clear. If and then you still resist maligned, my heart shall cry. Since I tried I shan't deny love I lost, for all time. A poet you are that is so clear your words are so sweet and ones to hold dear. You are truely a poet and this proves it. You shine and you make my words shine as well. You have earned your gold. Beautifully written. Now please accept your reward as the gold I mention so much is in the verses of the other poets. Please read and reply to at least three more than you normally would.....let the competitor in you accept this last challenge..Thank you. |
