I go out every morning
With a person known as Master.
He strolls along behind me
Unless I pull him faster.

He likes to stop and talk
When someone says "Hello,"
Unless I tug him on the leash,
Which means it's time to go.

He'll meander through a grassy park
Admiring each and every tree
And when I need to use one,
The choice is  up to me.

And when we're back at home again,
Each with a potent thirst,
He turns the tap on and makes sure
I get my water first.

The way he stretches out at night
To sleep upon the bed is fine.
As long as he remembers that
The foot of it is mine.

I like my life with Master.
I like to eat and sleep and play
With someone smart and capable
Who knows how to obey.

The dog's life is so simple.  Thanks for the smile this morning, Dom Mart.

I enjoyed your presentation, and perspective. Your Master must be a fine fellow.

Dom~
Ohhhhhhhh !
My pups thought this one was great folly.
What fun is life from both ends of the leash.
