Visions of laughter
Thoughts of the past
Looking to the future
Hoping it will last
We approach a new time
A millennium of sort
Where our future and past cross
Which path do we take?
My mind and thoughts lost
I look for the answers
But none can be found
Only time has these answers.
Oh father time hold me
Assist me to see
What the coming year baby
Has in store for me.

Wistful and sweet, spiked, I like this.  You should express this side of yourself more often.  Lovely.

Thanks serenity
not all is dark I do see light sometimes.
Just don't usually put that side in words.
