Darkness falls on the beach
As slowly but surely you reach
The spot you had chosen that day
To look up at the stars and stay.

In the dark, the ocean breeze
Calms your soul, your troubles ease
And sand around you still feels warm
From many hours of sun's brutal scorn.

You cannot see, in the grayish sand
The transient markings in the land
Made by those who had gone by
When blue sea also made up the sky.

In the sand drawn pictures of
Different things, some made with love,
Some created out of the blue
And many of them made by you.

And even as the darkness sets,
You make pictures; they're your steps
As you walk by pacific seas
And graced by gentle ocean breeze.

So lovely!  I've really got to see the ocean some day...

This was beautiful! Makes me want to take a walk along the sandy shore!

Spyro-
This is lovely.

I love a walk on the ocean's porch
when the stars are twinkling high.
Oh, the stories the sand could tell
of lovers who've walked the beaches
and left their heartprints on the sand.

Thanks for a lovely rendering.
