A gentle rain begins to fall
he stirs to its music,
and calls her image to mind.

Far away, she is sleeping,
stars shine above her roof,
she rises to rhythm of rain.

Two people apart, what a connection you have created with this excellent poem Corinne
Well done and saying so much. Awe

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Corinne,
The economy of words was the key
And opened what there was to see.
Well done.

Thank you, Denise, Seymour, and Hoot!  Was trying to see if I could do "less is more,"
well, more or less!

Parker, I'm still not clear on your post, you would please just say it???

Corinne-
Such talent you have,
to be able to put into so few words
such sense-tingling thoughts.
This is truly lovely.
Peaceful.

Sorry I was being bad, I'd have to post it in adult I'll just leave it to your imagination ....

But, really.  I love this little poem, it does conjour up an image of this mystery girl. I sometimes wonder who she is, and I wish I knew where she looks at her stars from.
