It is Valentine's Day my dear
Should I write you a ballad here
I would reveal my love this way
And for once not forget this day
It's deserving of chaplain's voice
Florists and card shops will rejoice

I loved you yesterday darling
I do love you as much today
But the sweet possibilities
Of tomorrow and forever on
Are what lovers live for
Until life is gone

So this day must forever last
It delves into the future and the past

You can hot glue that one down
wouldn't change a single word
excellent writing

I strongly agree Walt, I even buy the glue. Such piece perhaps looks good in Stone
Ever tried carving Walt.
Well done. Like it

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Walt - I hope you don't waste this great Valentine poem on poor bedraggled Bob, there....

Walt-
I LOVE IT !
What tender sentiment.

'But the sweet possibilities
Of tomorrow and forever on
Are what lovers live for'

Lovely.

Call me crazy, but I thought this was rather humorous as well as touching.  Well done Walt.

Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...
