Right - did that get your attention?
Good.

I AM NOT A GUY!!!!!!!!!

I am actually female.
(And a damn great looking one - hahahahah.)

So everybody - tell me.
WHAT is it about the name Severn that makes you all think I am a GUY?

Please tell me - or I will convulsively start growing excessive body hair to try and meet my peer's expectations!!!!!

Love you all - Kamla - true female name, because you all make me feel like a natural (wo)man!

(This may now result in ethnicity queries: my name is Indian - I am not. I am a European New Zealander.)

RIGHT - a cheery goodbye. Off to do my hair now...

Well, I have seen your name out and about, and personally I have always thought it was a girls name, and by the way it is a very pretty name too.

YAY! Thankyou thankyou...
feeling a bit better now - I just need seveal hundred other people to know now.
Actually Severn has two origins - a character in my novel and also The Sea of Severn - in England somewhere methinks. Hard finding out I wasn't so original after all!

Oh, your name is original, sorry when I said I saw it out and about I met in here.
I thought it was so pretty, that it just had to be a females name. lol

Especially when you freaked! For I almost fell in love with you myself when I was new, remember? I thought you were a guy too, and I loved your poetry! Nearly had it in my mind to try and seduce you !! ROFLMAO Boy was I surprised when you told me the real deal!! haha You are too funny girl!

I know I know - super paranoia here...
honestly, the amount of times people have thought...

dear pFF - HOW could I forget? I was so new to the net I couldn't get over it...(want to know a secret - I detest skirts, don't wear makeup and was a true tomboy - I'm only vain about my hair!)

PdV - thankyou!!! Yes, I have been mightily surprised myself on occasion...

Dream - you are a sweetie...and you too Elizabeth.

My confusion lasted about 5 seconds... I saw your name... and since I actually know a male named Severn, thought of him. But then I opened your poem and saw a response from Christopher... I figured either I was confused or he was! LOL

I have been surprised not only by your name, but some others here in this group. So I wait and continue to read both their postings and their responses before jumping to any concussion, err, conclusions about their gender. Now, to really mess things up, both my husband and I have a sound-alike name, and HIS can be taken as either fe/male. So, now you know why I use an alias...LOL! Cute read, great title!

Well maybe a "little" confused, but not so much as to think you were a guy!

Hey, never doubted your sex. What is it anyway?...lol. Ah kamla, all one has to do is read one of your poems to know what sex you are(psssshhhttt...don't tell them, but do you think a man could write with the heart and expression you do?)
