Okay, a word of warning.... The biggest shopping day of the year plus the biggest shopping mall in the US (The Mall of America) equals many blisters on your feet! Ouch! Shopping in a mall that big is not my idea of fun. I would run out of money so quick with all the stores. People leave our lives as quickly as they come, but the ones that mean something leave footprints in our hearts. |

I used to hate Christmas shopping. Then I got online and realized I didn't have to deal with the parking hassles, long lines, and rude salespeople. I like shopping in nothing but my underwear. Ya know, I never believed the stories about the after Thanksgiving shopping day... Now I've lived it and from now on I'm going to barricade myself in my house every Thanksgiving weekend, LOL There's no way I'm going to wait in a line 5 miles long to buy a pair of shoes because my dog ate my pair... LOL!!!! My "mall" has 10 stores, and I wasn't even about to leave my house! People are willing to fight for that stuff! BTW, does anyone know where I could find a playstation 2? My science teacher is offering my class tons of bonus points (on the sly, of course) if we can get one for her son! I really wish they would put traffic lanes in shopping malls! It never fails. I'll get behind a group of 10 people and for some unknown reason to me, they insist on walking side by side.... as s l o w l y as they can! There should be a slow lane, fast lane, north, south, east and west lanes {for those who insist on going against traffic,} maybe even stop signs.... and the biggest one..... And a shoulder for those who MUST stop in the middle of high speed traffic and chat! Maybe even a carpool lane for those who need to walk side by side, or have 350 lbs of gifts stuffed into 15 bags! Maybe even a traffic cop here and there to enforce it! And shopping bonuses for those who obey the rules  Then MAYBE I'd think about going back to the malls.... Ok, I feel better now. Think the DOT will go for it? I went to the mall at 7:00 a.m..... There wasn't a single parking space... I stood in line to walk into the store (which was already opened)... I stood in line to pay... It took me until 8:45 to get to the check out... by that time the checkout line behind me totally encircled the store... The last person in line was actually all the way around and in front of the registers... I went directly home... not to be seen again until... at least tomorrow.. |

Just the title of this made me laugh!! There's NO way I'd venture out in this. I don't like the crowds, and the stores around here are usually packed enough without holiday shopping. But, I'll wait until everyone goes back to work on Monday...hehe |

I love shopping ! I love the hustle-bustle ! I love the crowds ! Greatest time to do my people-watching ! I'd have to consider myself the defender of sales people ... NEVER met a rude one ! Met some RUDE customers that I've had to take to task ... but sales people - I LOVE YA' !
