Snow, gently falling.
Sudden spring storm, snowflakes
melt on fingertips.

Great I love the snow and the change over.

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

This leaves me with a wonderfully warm feeling.  I like this a lot.

"melt on fingertips"  I like!

This is beautiful, Joannak! I especially love the kind of snow that doesn't hang around too long!

Joannak,

so soft yet so powerful an image. Oh, the serene calm of spirit, to sit and melt snowflakes on your finger tip. I so enjoy reading your work.

jk,

Wonderful haiku.     Right now, if I look out the window, I can definitely identify with this.

Thank you all for your replies.
John, dh, child, Joy, Denise, INclan, and Gene, you all are too kind.
I myself am inspired by haiku, and I very much enjoy reading others (including you both, Gene and INclan).

Joannak, Great job! You've captured a moment for all to see, such complexity in simplicity! Dennis :^)
