Watching you from across the room I sit and stare at your lonely eyes You don't notice I'm crying You don't notice I'm there You are afraid to realize how much I care. I step up behind your chair Again you don't notice I'm there I lay my hand softly on your shoulder Only to have you shudder. You say you love me But where is the love? I kneel down on my knees I take your hand and I ask you "please" "Please don't push my love away I promise you my love will stay." I look at you with teary eyes Afraid you will tell me only lies. You once did love me You told me so So why, oh why are you sitting so low? What did I do What did I say To make your love, fade away? Was I not there To hold your hand? When you would fall, Did I not help you stand? You tell me you love me You tell me you care You say you don't want to hurt me So why are you afraid to be there? The beginning was wonderful I had my doubts But you didn't care You really really wanted me there You wanted me to also care. I let you in and held your hand ...Oh why, oh why are we at our end? Nothing I say Nothing I do Will bring you back to my strong hand Fore which I want to hold you. You say i'm to emotional You say you don't know if you can be there You don't know how, is what i thought Oh how could I let you take my heart? I've seen you happy I once made you happy I don't understand What happened? I was there I told you I would be there There would be nothing to keep me away. Even through a stormy night I would make sure I was always there I'd walk through the freezing cold air Just to show you I care and want to be there. You abused my heart You told me lies You put up a horrible diguise I'm sorry dear But you know the way it works If you want someone to love you You have to love them too You have to listen Just like I do You have to be strong even when you are weak That's what i do Nothing will ever stop me from loving you No matter what you do. The farther away we get The stronger my heart feels for you I believe you are my love Fore which I need in my heart I'm sorry, but nothing you do will tear me away from you My heart will always bleed, for wanting you. You told me you would rather die Then go to jail to pay the price I don't know exactully what you did And I know you feel you don't deserve this I believe you! I believe you! Now let me be there for you? You always told me when I wanted to die, That everyone has to live thier lives And leave when time decides You told me I can not take my life So why, Oh why might you take yours? Let me be there Let me care I will never leave you anywhere We'll get through it I know we can If they say you have to go away Listen! Listen to what they say You can't run away. So I say again "please" "Please don't push my love away I promise you my love will stay." Please let me be there I promise you I will always care I will help you stand, when times are tough Just say the words Tell me you want me to help you Let me know you really need me too Cuz I know some where in your heart You really don't want me to walk away from your love. I'm sorry honey But I see past your cold eyes I see past your lies You are afraid of life Just like everyone else You are afraid of being hurt So you push everything that makes you happy Far away from my grasp I am sorry my love I wish I could take your pain away Please, "Please stop pushing me away!" ~WhisperingWind~ |

wow there are a lot of feelings there....a lot of times we are scared of what the outcome of something might be so we dont want to take the chance and see. i am kind of in a simular situation. its hard and i hope for you and her that she realizes how much you love her and stops pushing you away. I dont know how to love you I dont know what to say I really want to be with you in a special kinda way. Im scared that if i love you you'll only walk away. Im scared that if i love you games with my heart, you'll play. I tell you to go I try pushin you away but in my heart im screaming please with me will you stay! you dont understand the things i've been through but if you could only let me sort things out i want to be with you! I've been hurt so many times. The pain never goes away. I'm scared that if i love you you won't forever stay. |

Whisperingwind, The poem is the very Heartthrob of us all, most of us have been there and done that! ~Whispering... This was so beautiful and sad at the same time. Really touched a part of my heart in a special way. I can feel your longing and your pain, as well as the powerful love you feel for this person. I wish I had some wonderful words to make things better, but I unfortunately don't. However, I can say this because I have been there...if something is meant to be, then it will be. And when two people finally realize how much they love one another and want to be together, NOTHING can tear them apart! Keep the faith. You are in my thoughts and prayers. WhisperingWind--I can strongly identify with many of these feelings. You seem to allude to a little something going on that I probably didn't have to deal with, but, overall, I know exactly from where you are coming. You express these feelings well in written form. Thank you everyone for your replys. I just wanted to clear up one thing though. It was probably the words "dear" and "honey" that caused this I'm female, not male. I wrote this poem to express my fears and feelings to my bf(ex). We've been having a hard time resently. He's been going to court and has to go again in July. In july is when they will tell him what's going to happen. ....I don't even understand myself what happened to cause him to go to jail, but it's really freaking him out. There is a small chance he might have to go to jail for 2-3 months. He didn't want to tell me that part though because he knows how stressed I am with my problems. You told me you would rather die Then go to jail to pay the price I don't know exactully what you did And I know you feel you don't deserve this I believe you! I believe you! He told me he would rather day then go to jail. I'm trying to keep myself as calm as I can with this, but I'm just to afraid they'll tell him he has to go. I've been with him every night sence he told me that, and I plan on giving him this poem. I was gonna do it last night, but forgot it at home. So tonight I am going to give it to him and see if it changes his thoughts. My goal is to be there for him and make sure he knows i'm there til the end. ~WhisperingWind~ |
