I'm in love with the girl on the escaltor I wonder how long it took God to make her With her kid red shoes And her sheer silk stocking What I'm thinking is really shocking It's only a short ride but I have to take it Some days I think I'll never make it It's the skin tight skirt And her case of leather Her perfume smells like wet wild Heather Sometimes I wonder where she's going With her fine soft lips and her mid-riff showing It looks to me like She wears a size seven My pulse speeds up as she accends to...Heaven Everyday It's the same situation She gets off at Pimlico station She meets a man I think It's her brother Then she walks with him to visit their mother Then I'm alone so I roll my paper I don't know how long I can take this caper I'm not sure I think her name is Bernie So again for work I'll take the same Journey I'm in love with the girl on the escalator I wonder how long it took God to make her I'm doing this now For over a week I'll pluck up courage tomorrow I'll ......SPEAK Jon Mewett Something Lite This ones from my ill spent youth You know When you spend your hours dreaming Of tomorrow And then Tomorrow's here |
