I'd like you to write a poem about drinking and post it here in the Pub, appropriate, no? hehehe
Let's see what you can come up with! (just remember, this is a 'family' establishment.. nothing to make one blush!) Thanks guys!

Does it have to be upbeat? I'll try. I wanted to incorporate the names of mixed drinks in a poem, but since I don't drink, I'm not familiar with the names. Nan mentioned 'Sex on the Beach'...and I know about Rum and Coke, Pina Colada, Daiquiri, and Martini....any others?

Happy, sad, funny, upbeat, whatever you like! I'm not too familiar with names of drinks either! Got mighty sick on rum and
coke once, though! Haven't touched it since!
Good luck, Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Devine, I can only help you with a couple of the names, there is Fuzzy Navels...and Long Island Iced Tea...the latter from what I understand is mixed with many liquors, and will put you to sheets to the wind!

I don't know! I probably did something wrong again! I uploaded for a second time last night because the first one came out too little and then when Ron enlarged it it was all fuzzy. So I tried again from a different application so I could enlarge the picture and then uploaded again, but I don't know what is wrong. I guess I'll email Ron again when I get home from work tonight!   < !signature-->

Just a few more names to help out with the challenge.
Butterball
Screwdriver
Pucker(apple, cherry, etc.)(shot)
Cement Mixer(shot)
Margaritas
Hot Sex(shot)
Tequila Rose(shot)
Stoley(fruit flavors)mix with lemonade
      ex:Rasberry Stoley Lemonade
That's all I could come up with of the top of my head. They're not all mixed drinks, but I hope it helps.  BTW-I'm not a big drinker but I have some friends that are bartenders. So when we do go out, they always make me try something new.

Good luck with the challenge. I'll be back to see how it goes

So many drinks...so little time...hehehehe!
There's quite a bit of subject matter here for lots of poetry!

OK, Rebecca, I think my picture is in now!

That's quite the challenge, Denise!

Set every threadbare sail-
And give her to the god of storms,
The lightning and the gale!

i made up a song called "Beer Goggle Blues" at spring break a couple of weeks ago. sung it from the balcony of the hotel to all who would listen while managing to smoke a camel at the same time.

i'll try to remember the words tomorrow and post 'em.
