There will be a Library Grand Opening
How soon, we can not tell,
But for some it will be Sheer Heaven
For others, just plain old Hell.

It won't be to everyone's liking
It surely wasn't meant to be,
But of all the Libraries e'er opened
This one will be for eternity!

It won't be the biggest Library ever
But it will be the Best of all,
And all will be at the Grand Opening
Including the great and the small.

There on display will be the Books
Opened for all to see,
The Ancient Classics under which they lived
Given by the True Divinity!

For all will be a Book Review
In a Special personalized way,
And each will give an account of themselves
On that Grand Judgment Day.

And another Book will be opened
The LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE, it is named,
And if your names not found within
There's no way that you will be saved!

Yes, that Library Opening soon may be,
Are You ready for eternity?
You best be studying the Books right now,
And Find God's Will, the Where and the How?

How Grand that Library Opening will be
If we have here found God's Way and Grace,
For the Christ, the Judge will be our Friend
And afford us a Mansion in Heaven's Place.

The Books will be Opened and another Book too,
If you don't heed the first-it's over for you.
But if you should, a Grand Opening it will be
Fort Heaven will be Yours, for all eternity!

(This poem was inspired by the passage of Scripture found in Revelation 20:11-15, which I encourage you to read for yourselves.  -dlw)

Ellie,
I'm sorry to disappoint you but what I said was that the Spiritual Journeys forum had reached 900 poems- not that I had posted 600 poem(I think I actually posted 114 originating posts-most of them poems).  But I am Proud that the Spiritual Journeys Forum has reached the 900 mark since it's inception--well on it's way to 1,000!!
Congratulations to all who helped make this achievement possible!!!   David

Good Preachin' Preacher!! Bless you brother
for this one. It's not a pretty picture for those "not found written in the book of life". I pray I live the life for Him, and fellowship with those that love and serve Him, in Fort Heaven.

Timely message as the end-time prophecies are coming to pass.

Great job writting, btw, flowing and smooth, certainly filled with truth. amen. marcy

Wow, definitely some food for thought here David.... Beautifully written, as usual.  Congratulations of turning the counter to 900 ....now let's see how long it takes to get to 1,000.  Bonnie

David,
Another wonderful message, how do you do it?  (Was it my imagination or was the rhyming somewhat irregular?) Love your unique perspective, keep up the Great Work Bro!!!
