Jesus, You call us all,
to follow your example.
So today, and all my days,
make me a servant to you.
That I may walk humbly
in your Love.
Carve the word "obedience"
into my heart.
Help me to give You my
will,
whatever that may be.
And that all my days,
this soul of mine
will be ever on it's
knees,
proclaiming
"Jesus Christ is Lord"
to the glory of God
the Father!

Ellie,
If I had not know ahead of time, who had written this, I would have said this sounds like one of Ellie's wonderful poems, and I would have been right! The constancy of your sumbmission and dedication to the Lord is beautifully seen and portrayed in your poems. You have personally distilled the words of this passage and have shown through your words the marvelous "mind of Christ" which it instructs us in.  Very Good indeed,
you are by your words of devotion, also continuing  to encourage others likewise to be possessed of that same mind.  Thank you, David

Dear Ellie...I find this to be the most surrendering prayer I've ever read.
And that all my days, this soul of mine, will be ever on it's knees, proclaiming " Jesus Christ is Lord" the adaptation is excellent and Beautiful! I want to remember this always. God bless you!
Sincerely,
Rwood

Dear Ellie, I am awed by the beauty of this piece, it's simplicity and sincerity, a submission of will and obedience to the Master. I am humbled by this entreaty. Thanks for sharing this wonderful peice.

Dear Ellie,
What a testimonial! I am sitting here crying after reading your poem. Oh my, it is so very beautiful. This is where I need help. I
sometimes have a hard time being humble and obedient. Thank you for this wonderful poem, I would like to use it in my prayers if it's OK with you. Thank you Ellie. May the Lord always let you be an example with your poetry. Bless you,
Erie
