Some parts of this poem is not true. I just added some lines to season it up. If any of you read Soul on Ice part 1, you would have liked it too. But I like this just as much because, I've added some new lines for part 2 because this poem has new lines has more soul too.

I'm walking on thin ice,
as I continue to pay the price,
for trying to make things right.
I used to rob banks
but, I stopped.
And God is the only person who get my thanks,
as well as my props
because, everyone else just labeled me and criticized me as a thief.
All I wanted was to make some money
because, I needed it real bad.
The little money that I got from begging was all I had.
In society,
my personality is under heavy scrutiny
because, my soul suffers from severe immorality.
At times, I'm sharp as an ice pick
with a mind hard as a brick
but, I'm still not as slick,
as Rick.
Everytime I try to squeeze out of a bad cicumstance,
I usually end up with ants in my pants.
I swear to God that if I ever get the chance,
I would look at my world through a whole different glance.
I would make the changes that needs to be made
and worry less about being paid.
I've realized the consequences of society,
and  I hate all of the bad notoriety I recieve.
Right now, I feel like an army greenade,
fixing to detonate,
Continuing to pay the price,
for the wrong type of sacrifice,
my soul's on ice.

Nate I liked this very much! Strong thoughts here.  I like how you ended this...Continuing to pay the price,
for the wrong type of sacrifice,
my soul's on ice.

Wow, it almost made me cry, Nate.  Christ paid our price, so in thankfulness we go on to better ways, but I do understand what you're saying.

*clapping*  This is great, powerful and meaningful.  Great job!
