In an upside-down garden

I've known you for a while.
You've sharred in my missery.
You've brought me out,
of my low feeling.
And showed me,
how to glow.
They don't see you,
exactly like I do.
They don't think,
I should love you.
I remember,
when I met you.
In the computer lab,
one day.
We laughed and talked together.
The sky went sunny out of gray.
I was feeling lonely.
No one liked me, you see.
Till you walked into the computer lab,
and started flirting with me.
My friends all say you're ugly,
even though I think you're not.
Truth is,
the peeps they like,
really aren't so hot.
So if you see me in the hallway,
try and say hello.
For I may be having a bad day,
or I may need a reason to glow.
